What Happens
The Little Mermaid is Copenhagen's most famous landmark — a bronze statue gazing out over the harbour since 1913. On August 19, she gets a silent disco. A group of 100+ travellers meet at a partner hostel, collect wireless headphones, and walk through Copenhagen's city centre along the Langelinie promenade to the statue.
At sunset, the music drops and the entire group dances together beside the waterfront. Tourists pull out their phones. The harbour glows in the golden hour light. It's one of the most photogenic stops on the entire tour.
